Our CordiaServes initiative aims to create meaningful contributions by harnessing the power of our collective action and dedication.”
The program kicked off last week for a weeklong, company-wide engagement dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans from Monday, November 6 to Saturday, November 11. The week also celebrated Cordia’s commitment to support the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, with a $10,000 donation, and a supply drive for Soldier’s Angels, collecting 50 pounds of items for donation.
“We’re really going to dig in, get our hands dirty, and make a tangible difference,” said Cordia Senior Vice President Support Services and Sustainability Randy Johnson. “We honored our veteran employees, made care packages, explored mental health tools, and hosted a steps challenge with the winning team making a donation to the veteran-aligned organization of their choice.”
In addition to company-wide efforts, many Cordia sites also volunteered locally in their communities. Cordia hopes their weeklong efforts will encourage others to observe veterans through community service.
